1966 Nova Chopped, Channeled and Stretched Street Rod

This is a Super Chevy multiple show winner 1966 Nova big block hot rod like no other. Chassis is a complete Alston Modified Frame. The engine is a 472 Chevrolet big block that has been rated at over 600 horsepower coupled to a 2 Speed custom built Power Glide with manual 5000 RPM stall converter.

Many exterior modifications were made on the body. The front fenders are 1967. The front end has been pinched and narrowed three inches to match the hand fabricated all metal front roll pan bumper. The hood is electrically operated, fabricated hood scoop. The rear roll pan bumper is also hand fabricated. The body side molding has been widened by three quarters of an inch, extending the full length of the car. The gas filler door, door handles, locks, and emblems have been shaved. The car has been chopped, channeled and stretched while still keeping with the original look of a 1966 Nova.

The interior of this Street Rod has extensive aluminum fabrication. Custom handmade dash features Supercomp Gauges, billet steering column. Aluminum floors and tubs, Momo steering wheel and pedals, custom seats, OMP six point racing harness, Biondo Launch Electronics, and a B&M shifter. Morocco III Budnik Custom Wheels, 17x7 on the front and 20 x 15 on the rear. This is a metal car and not a fiberglass kit. The car is driven on the street and is ready for the strip.
