1946 Cadillac Street Rod for sale in Texas. The engine in this car is a 560 cubic inch Cadillac built by Kruzik Racing Engines. Transmission is a 700R4 with overdrive. The original chassis was re-built by Dave Shelby with a Corvette C4 suspension to hold the massive engine. Everything on the chassis was detailed, rebuilt, chromed and painted before the body was reinstalled. All fuel and brake lines are stainless. The mufflers and fuel tank are stainless and the complete exhaust system was Jet Hot ceramic coated. Other items include Vintage Air A/C, power steering and power brakes.
The paint is PPG and has been sanded and polished to a show quality finish. This car has literally hundreds of body modifications. All chrome was rechromed and all glass was replaced. Candy ghost flames are on the front end of the car and continue under the hood. Ghosted Cadillac crests are present on the trunk lid and two under the hood. Interior is covered in gray leather. A custom stereo was installed with a cd changer mounted in the trunk. The remote entry system is from Dakota Digital, and the gauges are Classic Instruments. The is a custom dash and full length upper console, plus power windows, and power seats.
The Boyd Coddington Custom Wheels have custom engraved Cadillac scripts on centercaps. Sizes are 17 x 8 front and 17 x 10 rear. This 1946 Cadillac was built into a street rod show car.
