The Studebaker Brothers first gas powered automobile was built in 1904 and first Electric Studebaker was built in 1902. By 1949 Studebaker was one of the first American Automobile manufacturers with post war cars after World War II. However, it was their 1950 and 1951 models with the bullet nose that really standout during this era.
Studebaker never made a fastback or a woody in 1951 and notice the late 1930s Ford headlamps. This Studebaker Custom Street Rod is equipped with an Edsel engine.
