This is a 1939 Ford Cabriolet. The body was manufactured by Coast to Coast of Canada. Paint is Sunset Pearl by House of Kolor.
The chassis is Coast to Coast 2.5” x 6” perimeter type. Steering is rack and pinion power assisted. Front suspension is Mustang II, cross member and spindles with Alden coil overs. Rear suspension is Aldan coil overs. Brakes are 11 inch disc.
Interior features include seats from a 1995 Saturn, upholstery is leather by Steve and Marilyn Ralfs of Durant, Iowa, steering wheel is Billet Specialties, steering column chrome is Ididit, gauges are Dakota Digital, stereo is Blauplunk CD player with Infinity Kappa speakers and amplifier.
This outstanding street rod is equipped with a GM Ram Jet 350 crate engine, displacement 350 cubic inches, horsepower is 350 @ 5200 RPM, torque is 400 foot pounds @ 3500 RPM. Exhaust headers are HPC Block Hugger, 2.25” polished stainless steel with “Stainless Specialty” mufflers and tips. The cooling system is a AFCO 4-row aluminum radiator with electric fan. The Transmission type – TPI 700 R-4 with shift kit, torque convertor is 2000 RPM stall speed, shift – B & M ratchet type. Rear axle is a Strange 9” four bar Ford post, axles Strange 31 spline and had ratio of 3.50:1.
Front custom wheels are 16” x 7” Boyd Coddington Rodder, 3.5” offset and rear – 17” x 8” Boyd Coddington Rodder, 4” offset. Tires front – 205/55ZR16 Bridgestone Potenza and rear – 255/50ZR17 Bridgestone Potenza.
